A Tale of Melodies
General Rules
Number of participants - 2
Time limit - each round will be of 15-20 minutes.
Only Bollywood songs will be allowed.
Singing any song with inappropriate lyrics or singing out of turn will lead to disqualification.
If one team fails to sing during their round, it will be passed on to the next team and bonus points will be given.
Rounds
Round 1 (Traditional Antakshari) - “Shuru karo Antakshari,leke prabhu ka naam”
The first song has to start with 'M' and the following songs must begin with the last sound of the previous song. At least 4 lines of the song must be sung. There will be 2 such rounds. No song should be repeated.
Round 2 (Movie Round) - “Jo bolo toh jaanu,guru tumko maanu!”
A song from a certain movie will be played. The participants have to correctly identify the movie and sing another song from that movie. At least 4 lines of the song must be sung. The audio of the song would be played for 10 to 15 seconds.
Round 3 (Emoji Round) - “Arre deewano,mujhe pehchano!”
Participants will be asked to pick a chit. The chits will consist of emojis or pictures which will represent a song. The participants have to identify the song and sing at least 4 lines of the song correctly.
Round 4 (Finish The Lyrics) - “Last but not the least!”
The lyrics of a song will be displayed on the screen. The participants have to identify the song and sing the following lyrics. At least 4 lines of the song need to be sung. This would be a buzzer round.
Bonus Round(in case there is a tie)
The signature tune of the song will be played on the audio player for about 10 seconds. This will be a buzzer round. The participants will have to identify the song and sing it correctly within 5 seconds. The team which sings the song correctly will win the game.
Judgement Criteria
A team will be rewarded with 10 points for each correct answer.
The judgement will be based on authenticity and promptness of the song.
Judge’s decision will be considered as final and binding.
