General Rules

• Number of participants : 3 (2 writers and 1 editor)

• The participants will be required to compile an e-magazine covering the various events of Yuvakarshan.

• Number of articles: Minimum 5, each of 100-150 words.

• Number of pictures: 10 Minimum. 

• Number of pages: 10 Maximum

• Compilation: On any app/software of the participants’ choice. The final presentation should be submitted in a PDF format.

• Each article should cover 1 event. Participants need to come up with a creative title for each article. There should be no audio or video in the magazine. GIFs and animations are allowed.

• Use of inappropriate language in the magazine will lead to disqualification.

• The cover page should include the following:

• The name-  "The YK Review".

• The name of the publisher (participants' school’s name)

• A catchy tagline.

• The editor will be seated in an allotted room during the events.

• The editor needs to bring any 1 device for editing. Participants can bring up to 2 phones or 2 cameras for taking pictures. They are requested to bring their own chargers. 

• Host school will not be responsible for the loss or damage of the teams’ devices.

• The writers can visit the venue of every event in Yuvakarshan on Day 1. They can take notes, pictures, interview participants from their school and start writing thereafter.

• Submission has to be done by 12 noon on Day 2 (26th July, 2024) through a Google Form available on this webpage.

Judgement Criteria

  • Marks will be deducted if an article is found to be plagiarised or created using AI.
